The service
Komin (“we”) is an app to control smart power strips and follow electricity use. It works with strips the user owns and a home hub (a PC) running the Komin software.
Your account
An account is personal and active on one phone at a time. Phone changes are limited to three every 30 days to prevent account sharing.
You are responsible for your password and for what happens in your account.
Safety and electricity
The protection feature (cutting power on bad voltage or heat) is an aid. It does not replace circuit breakers, a residual-current device (RCD) or a sound electrical installation.
Do not use schedules or remote control to switch on heaters or dangerous devices when nobody is there.
Commands can be delayed or lost because of the internet, power cuts or the home hub being off.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Komin is not liable for indirect damage from using, or not being able to use, the service.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are handled by Google Play and renew automatically unless cancelled before the period ends. Cancel any time in Google Play.
Devices
Strips are made by other companies; their trademarks belong to their owners. Komin is not affiliated with them.
